Our ultra-light (less than 2kg/m2), ultra-thin (less than 2mm thick) and flexible organic solar films can be installed on any type of surface, providing an attractive aesthetic and design for architectural integration.  Power generation with OPV technology is cleaner and has a lower carbon footprint than that generated by conventional solar panels. The organic solar films supplied by MDV SOLAR® are the perfect solution for the generation of “eco-friendly” solar energy in buildings where weight restrictions, static load, or perforations make it impossible to install conventional photovoltaic panels. Offered with a back adhesive and integrated connectors. Our solar films can be easily stuck onto the roof, windows, railings, vertical fins, walls, or other building elements.

Glass Integration

Almost 500 million window units are installed worldwide every year. These building surfaces can be used for sustainable energy generation, but until recently, there was a lack of adequate glass integration solutions for solar power generation.

Our SOLARFLEX® OPV system provides the perfect solution for windows, balustrades, and façades to generate electricity. In addition, it reflects heat and thus reduces heat build-up in buildings. Thanks to its low thickness, our OPV films can be laminated with glass panes.
